Luke, you were born in Philadelphia and raised in a “shit hole called Fresno”. In 2003 you moved to Los Angeles. What did you hope to find in LA? Actually what did you find?


I hoped to find a job. I ended up finding my dream career.

What’ s your biggest obsession?


My biggest obsessions would be street culture, geek culture, pop culture, art, and food.









Tell me about your plans for the next future. Are there any up coming shows around the world?


My next show is going to be my interpretation of Dante's Inferno which will be opening 9/9/09. I don't have any major shows planned outside of the united states as of yet.


I saw on your web site an area dedicated to FAN ART which is so cute! You said that you never expected to create such an impact on your audience. Maybe it was not your very purpose but it’ s quite amazing as result! What’s your relationship with fan world?

Speravo di trovare lavoro. E ho trovato la carriera dei miei sogni.

I tuoi laovri mi fanno pensare alla condizione d' isolamento, specie i tuoi autoritratti. Ad esempio l' opera dal titolo My Ball & Chain del 2009.

Qual' è la tua ossessione più grande?

Le mie ossessioni più grandi sono la cultura street, la cultura pop, l' arte e il cibo.

Progetti per il futuro prossimo?

La mia prossima mostra è una reinterpretazione dell' Inferno Dantesco e aprirà il prossimo 9 Settembre. Per ora non ho in piano grandi mostre al di fuori degli Stati Uniti.

Ho notato che sul tuo sito c' è una sezione dedicata all' arte dei tuoi fans. Hai confessato che mai e poi mai avresti immaginato di ottenere tutto questo successo. Forse non era tua intenzione ma il risultato è strabiliante! Qual' è il tuo rapporto con i tuoi fans?
